Systems thinker.
Platform builder.

Seven-plus years across systems, cloud, and engineering environments have shaped a practical approach: understand the system, reduce the friction, and leave it more reliable than you found it.

A progression, not a pivot

Joshua’s work began in systems, infrastructure, security, and enterprise operations. That foundation led to cloud engineering and deep Kubernetes troubleshooting, then into platform engineering—where the objective is to build the paved roads that help other engineers deliver safely and quickly.

His active M.S. in Management Information Systems at Texas A&M University is the next expression of that same work: connecting operational data, analytics, and information systems to make better engineering decisions.

Recent focus

The problems I keep choosing

Multi-tenant observability

Grafana org isolation, Keycloak-backed access, Terraform-managed dashboards, and clear onboarding paths for new teams and applications.

Repeatable platform delivery

Terraform module patterns, schema validation, policy checks, and environment promotion that hold up under real workloads.

Operational knowledge capture

Runbooks, onboarding docs, incident response guidance, and restore testing that turn hard-won context into team capability.

Education

Learning in public, with purpose

Engineering values

Make complexity legible

Good platforms let engineers understand the system and act with confidence.

Use evidence

Metrics, logs, events, and clear documentation make better incident decisions.

Design for the next operator

Automation and thoughtful defaults turn hard-won knowledge into durable capability.
